Do It For You

As we come to the end of what can only be described as another unexpected and hectic roller coaster ride of a year, it is time to stop, breathe and practice the self-care we read all about or preach to others.

Nothing could have prepared us for the past few years and it has taken it’s toll. I have heard of late, over and over again people are crawling into the festive season. Everyone is exhausted.

On that note, if you can take the break; recharge and reset your intentions for 2022.

Read that book that has sat on your bookshelf for the past year (or longer), plan a day outing, book a massage, enjoy a picnic or sit on the couch and binge watch a series or five. Emily in Paris returns December 22, you will find me ready to smash out each and every episode, dreaming about Paris.

The only way to take care of others is to fill your own cup first. Do not feel guilty that you should be doing something all of the time - instead be okay with doing nothing (resting).

This is the best time to reassess what is important to you.

A new year can hold new opportunity.

2022 is your year. What do you want to happen?
